Meet Dr. Camila Vanegas
The Professional Side
Dr. Camila graduated as a general dentist in 2011 and worked in Bogota and the Dominican Republic. She then carried out two years of further training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, oral rehabilitation, and restoration of dental implants. Her love for professional development brought her to Auckland, where she studied post-graduate diploma in health sciences. Dr. Camila strives to provide evidence-based, comprehensive dental care with a friendly & empathetic but professional approach. She loves helping her patients achieve their best oral health by integrating her wide knowledge and experience. Rumour has it kids love her!
The Personal Side
Dr Camila Vanegas was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. She moved to New Zealand in 2019 and fell in love with the Kiwi lifestyle.
Dr. Camila dreamed of being a dentist since she was nine years old. Her love for dentistry is only equaled by her passion for running, which has led her to complete more than ten half marathons around the world, the 2019 Auckland marathon, and soon, the 2023 Chicago marathon for which she is already training. When she is not seeing patients or running, you can spot her reading a book at the beach, watching football games, and, as a good Colombian, dancing salsa or enjoying a good cup of Colombian coffee.
