John Burford ED BDS. Graduated from Otago Dental School in 1963 and spent the next 27 years running a general dental practice in Greymouth - apart from three years in the Canadian north treating Inuit and Indians across the high arctic. He moved to Auckland in 1991 and now his main interest is in treating jaw joint disorders and head and neck pain. He has lectured on this [and other dental subjects] in New Zealand, Australia, Zimbabwe, Romania, Canada, and the United States.
In 2010 he achieved 'Distinguished Fellowship' status with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.

Sarah Cole BDS. Sarah graduated in 1981 and has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry. Sarah is very experienced in making ceramic crowns and inlays using the computer generated CEREC system. These metal free porcelain restorations are state of the art in restoring posterior teeth.

Nicolas Anderson BDS. Graduated from Otago University in 1997. Nic is originally from Palmerston North and after completing his degree did an OE in England and worked in a multidisciplinary practice in Wimbledon. Orthodontics and correcting facial growth anomalies are Nic's primary focus now. He is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association and the President of the New Zealand Dentists' Orthodontic Society.

Bernard Emerre BDS, LDSRCS. Graduated with John in 1963. Bernard worked in Christchurch and Motueka before heading to England, Germany and the Canadian Arctic. Bernard is part of the general dentistry team and has a special interest in periodontics and oral surgery, as well as helping out with orthodontics when required. Bernard is also fluent in German.

Alison Leigh BDS. Graduated from Otago University in 1988 and subsequently spent time working in England. Alison helps Nic out doing Orthodontics on a part time basis. She is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association and regularly attends lectures to keep her knowledge base up to date with the latest technological advancements.
